Enquiries are welcome even at the stage of “we are not yet sure what we could ask for”. A rough description of the phenomenon or the difficulty in front of you is enough to start with.

Hidemi Akimoto, Ph.D. (Director)

Particle physics research at Fermilab and SLAC. You deal directly with a researcher who has built physical models from the ground up and tested them against experimental fact.

Selected work

  • Detecting split pits in peaches without cutting them open

Estimating the internal state of fruit non-destructively through vibration and acoustic analysis. Joint research with Applied Vibro-Acoustics Inc.

  • Clean air control in semiconductor cleanrooms

Formulating the control of airflow and airborne molecular contamination (AMC) from first principles, and supporting the resulting control design.

  • Mathematical modelling of agricultural IoT data

Turning sensor data from the field into equations that can actually be solved, and translating those into decisions.

Personal information you provide is used only to respond to your enquiry, and is handled with appropriate care.

How it works

How a project starts

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Tell us the outline of the problem by form or email. It is fine if it is not yet clearly defined.

  2. 02

    First consultation (free, 30 min)

Online or by phone, we go over the background to the problem and what is required. There is no charge at all.

  3. 03

    Proposal and quotation

We propose an approach suited to the problem, along with an indication of cost, and adjust it until you are satisfied.

  4. 04

    Agreement and start of work

Once the agreed terms are confirmed in writing, work begins on analysis, modelling, simulation, and related tasks.

  5. 05

    Delivery and walkthrough

We deliver the results, whether a report, a model, or recommendations, and take you through them carefully.
